A fairly large area between islands Sjaelland and Amager. Not that easy to find, but freely accessible and full of surprisingly wild nature in spite of its proximity to the town center. Can be accessed from the north and east through the street Bådhavnsgade or from the western side walking through the Valby Park (Valbyparken), which lies right down to the water and has bike and walking paths right across to Sydtippen.
There's fishing all the way around the small peninsula. Most of it is reinforced with stones nd has deep water, but there are areas, which can be waded if you prefer that. The whole area is fenced off and grazed by sheep in the summer, but has full public access.
South Tip
For now this section is about Denmark - and mainly the area around Copenhagen.
